Print Purchasing Manager | Springville, UT


Nexeo Staffing is seeking an experienced Print Purchasing Manager to join a growing manufacturing team in the Springville, UT area. This is a temporary position with the potential to become long-term or permanent for the right candidate.

We are looking for someone with strong purchasing, sourcing, and supplier management experience who understands the demands of a fast-paced manufacturing or print production environment. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, skilled in vendor negotiations, and able to manage purchasing activities while balancing production schedules, inventory levels, quality standards, and cost efficiency.


Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain purchase orders for print materials and production components.
  • Procure materials required to meet production schedules and customer demand.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to expedite or delay shipments based on changing production needs.
  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and supplier agreements.
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve delivery, quality, pricing, or material discrepancies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Prepare and submit payment requests and coordinate timely processing.
  • Oversee the receipt and documentation of incoming materials.
  • Verify incoming shipments against packing lists and purchasing documentation.
  • Maintain accurate material certification records and coordinate with Quality Control as needed.
  • Collaborate with warehouse, production, and quality teams to ensure materials are available when needed.
  • Monitor inventory levels and material usage to prevent shortages and excess inventory.
  • Analyze purchasing and inventory data to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Ensure purchasing and material-handling processes comply with company policies and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Support and promote workplace safety standards within warehouse and production environments.


Qualifications

  • Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management required.
  • Experience within printing, manufacturing, production, or distribution environments strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of purchasing, logistics, inventory management, and supplier coordination.
  • Proven ability to negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors.
  • Strong vendor management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Access, ERP systems, or other database platforms preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate inventory, purchasing, and material usage data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with production, warehouse, quality, and supplier teams.
    • Preferred: Experience within the printing or print production industry.


Pay

$30.00-$40.00 per hour


Schedule

Full Time | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Temporary position with the potential for temp-to-hire placement.
