We are looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team! You will be processing payrolls for multiple clients and will have an assigned book of business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the client payroll process from start to finish, ensuring that all employees are paid accurately and on time.
  • New hire onboarding
  • Process employee status changes
  • Train clients and employees on payroll online system
  • Generate client payroll reports
  • Daily scanning of reports and record keeping of all payroll information
  • Answer client and employee inquiries related to payroll, including troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple payroll cycles, multi-state payroll, and deadlines effectively.
  • Knowledge of US federal, state, and local payroll regulations and payroll best practices.
  • Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes, documentation, and operational workflows.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Payroll Specialist or an equivalent field.
  • Solid knowledge of payroll laws and tax regulations
  • Proficient with payroll software programs.
  • Proficient in Excel and Word.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Customer focused at all times.
  • Knowledge of PrismHR is a plus, but not required.

Benefits:

  • Competitive compensation package is offered for this non-exempt, hourly position, with an annualized equivalent salary range of $50,000 - $65,000 per year depending on experience.
  • We offer medical, dental, vision insurance, and employer paid and voluntary life, as well as a safe harbor 401k plan and generous paid time off.
  • Optional Flex Time Program – you may choose to work 4 nine hour days and work 4 hours on Fridays every other week.

Full time position Monday through Friday in our corporate office at approximately I-25 and Dry Creek. This is not a remote position.
