General Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of the Production Worker/Machine Setup and Operator is to produce parts for the Quality Easel product line that are consistent with specifications and established quality standards in addition to practicing the core values of the Agency: Success, Collaboration, People and Positivity.
Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Functions
  1. Operate shear cutter and hydraulic press according to all safety procedures
  2. Setup machine according to precise and accurate measurements
  3. Inspect and identify defective materials and parts
  4. Meet production goals without sacrificing quality and safety

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  1. Experience setting up and using hydraulic press
  2. Experience setting up and using shear cutter
  3. Ability to use tape measure and take measurements quickly and accurately
  4. Possess good hand-eye-foot coordination
  5. Possess fine finger dexterity
  6. Must possess excellent arithmetic skills - fractions, addition, subtraction
  7. Knowledge of production practices preferred

Education
High school diploma or GED preferred
Physical Requirements
Standing, reaching, bending, stooping and twisting eight hours per day; ability to reach and grasp; ability to push and pull objects; must be able to lift 50 lbs. consistently
Other
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and theft-related background check
Must be able to work five days per week during regular plant hours and occasional weekend
