Job Description:
Parsons is looking for a talented and fully cleared Systems Administrator to join our growing team!
This role is supporting a highly sought-after mission in the development and engineering community, supporting a team of cybersecurity engineers and analysts as a one-stop-shop for Linux systems administration.
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Support and maintain Linux systems. Experience with Windows to support Microsoft PowerBI is also very helpful.
  • Create, support, and manage virtual machines.
  • Manage all IAVA patches ensuring multiple SSPs remain STE/STN compliant. Work in close coordination with ISSO.
  • Manage installation and configuration of software environments.
  • Provide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems
  • Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
  • Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers
  • Optimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning.
  • Perform Data Transfer Agent (DTA) responsibilities, including reviewing, validating, documenting, and executing authorized data transfers between systems and security domains at varying classification levels

What Required Skills You'll Bring:
  • Active TS/SCI with Poly
  • 10+ years of experience, with additional education able to count in lieu of a degree. Additional flexibility pending Customer approval.
  • Bachelor's degree, with additional relevant SA experience able to count in lieu of a degree
  • Must have background supporting both Linux and Windows OS.
  • Experience with software installation and configuration.
  • Understanding of applying patches to systems and maintaining STE/STN compliance on SSPs.

What Desired Skills You Might Bring:
  • Security + Certification (SEC+)
  • Experience with AWS and cloud environments
  • Scripting experience (Python) is a plus

Security Clearance Requirement:
An active Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph security clearance is required for this position.
