Job description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Horticulture Applicator to join our growing team. This position focuses on identifying, diagnosing, and treating landscape and plant health issues for residential and commercial properties. If you enjoy working outdoors, solving problems, and improving the health and appearance of landscapes, this is a great opportunity to build a long-term career in the green industry.
Position Overview
The Horticulture Technician is responsible for inspecting properties, identifying plant diseases, insect activity, nutrient deficiencies, and environmental stress factors, as well as applying appropriate treatments. This role plays a key part in maintaining healthy trees, shrubs, and ornamental plants while delivering excellent customer service.
No prior horticulture experience is required - we provide hands-on training to ensure you gain the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
Responsibilities
• Identify tress, shrubs, and other ornamental plants
• Inspect landscapes to identify plant health issues, pests, and diseases
• Diagnose landscaping and ornamental plant problems
• Apply liquid treatments accurately and safely
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly with customers
• Maintain accurate service records
• Operate and maintain equipment safely
• Follow all company safety guidelines and state regulations
Qualifications
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and accept coaching
• Good communication skills
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and walk properties daily
