Under the leadership of owners Dr. Renee Saxton and Kayla Mendoza—alongside long-time staff veterinarian Dr. Jon Goodell—our clinic delivers exceptional care to horses, cattle, livestock, and pets across Southern Oregon and Northern California.

About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, passionate Associate Veterinarian to join our full-time team. Whether you are an experienced practitioner looking for an elite caseload or a motivated candidate eager to sharpen your skills through structured mentorship, we are fully committed to supporting your professional growth.


Key Scope of Practice:

  • Equine: General & emergency medicine, lameness/soundness diagnostics, sports medicine, laser therapy, advanced dentistry, surgery, and pre-purchase exams.
  • Bovine & Livestock: Practical herd-health management, pregnancy checking, semen & Trich testing, BVD testing, castrations, dehorning, calving assistance, and interstate veterinary inspections.
  • Small Animal Care: Assist as we continue to expand our small animal wellness, preventative care, dentistry, and surgical services.
  • Emergency & Field Calls: Share after-hours emergency duties to support local ranchers and horse owners across our border region.


What Success Looks Like (Qualifications)

  • Education & Credentials: Valid USA Veterinary License (DVM / VMD degree from an accredited veterinary program).
  • Licensure: Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in both Oregon and CaliforniaWe will assist in covering the cost of dual licensure!
  • The Mindset: Enthusiastic, collaborative, and adaptable with strong communication skills for interacting with local ranchers, horse owners, and staff.
