Job description

Position - Director of Rehab

Status - Full Time

Location - Gates, NY

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the development and implementation of individualized rehabilitation plans for patients and residents

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and achieve optimal patient outcomes

  • Manage and supervise a team of rehabilitation therapists, including speech, occupational, and physical therapists

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop plans to address those needs

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain accurate records

  • Promote a culture of quality, safety, and family-centered care throughout the center

  • Identify and address any deficiencies or concerns in the rehabilitation program

  • Participate in accreditation surveys and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements:

  • New York State licensure in the applicable therapy discipline

  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and staff

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
