Job description

Job Title: Marketing Analyst & Operations Specialist

Location: Chicago, IL (In-office, full-time)

About Us
We market and manage over 12,000 apartments across Chicago, Kansas City, and St. Louis. Our mission is simple: make finding and living in an apartment easier and more enjoyable.

We’re looking for a Marketing Analyst & Operations Specialist who is equal parts data detective, HubSpot architect, and WordPress optimizer to help us grow smarter and faster.

Responsibilities
  • Manage 21 WordPress sites: plugin updates, theme optimization, security monitoring
  • Implement SEO best practices, schema markup, and performance improvements
  • Set up A/B tests, CRO tools, and landing page templates to drive conversions
  • Partner with IT on hosting/maintenance and troubleshoot technical issues
  • Serve as in-house Google Analytics 4 expert: event setup, tracking, and attribution
  • Build dashboards integrating web, ad, email, and social campaign data
  • Translate analytics into insights for leasing and marketing strategies
  • Own HubSpot end-to-end: workflows, smart lists, lead scoring, forms, landing pages, nurture programs
  • Integrate HubSpot with Salesforce and AppFolio; troubleshoot sync issues and enforce clean data
  • Train teammates on HubSpot usage and automation
  • Collaborate with marketing, IT, and third-party vendors to optimize tools and campaigns
  • Champion UTM tracking, attribution, and conversion reporting best practices
  • Research and implement new marketing automation and martech solutions
Requirements
  • Chicago-based and available to work in-office (collaborative role)
  • 4–6+ years in marketing analytics or marketing operations
  • Strong WordPress expertise: custom post types, plugins (Yoast, Elementor, Gravity Forms), CRO tools, staging environments
  • Extensive HubSpot experience: automation workflows, multi-touch nurture campaigns, integrations, advanced reporting
  • Google Analytics 4 mastery: event tracking, data layers, conversions, dashboards
  • Strong Excel/SQL/BI skills (Looker, Tableau, Power BI a plus)
  • Comfortable with APIs, Zapier/Make, and webhooks
  • Strong communicator able to bridge data, tech, and creative marketing teams
Why You’ll Love Working Here
  • Impact: Your dashboards and optimizations directly influence how 12,000 apartments get leased
  • Ownership: Lead authority on HubSpot and WordPress, trusted across the team
  • Tools & Scale: Manage a modern stack (HubSpot, Salesforce, AppFolio, GA4, WordPress) at enterprise scale
  • Growth: Opportunity to innovate, test, and implement bold ideas
Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive salary range ($75k-$80k annually)
  • Health, dental, vision insurance
  • Paid time off + holidays
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Apartment discounts
