This position is responsible for achieving sales objectives within the assigned territory.In addition they will be responsible for improving Ditch Witch dealer performance and building trusting relationships between Ditch Witch and our channel partners.This role will work collaboratively across the organization to deliver superior customer support and business performance.

What Will You Do?

In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for the following responsibilities:

• Drive dealer profitability improvement through the coaching and influencing of Territory Manager's and dealers within the region
• Drive growth through channel and new market development to provide industry leading dealer coverage and customer experience for Ditch Witch products within the assigned territory
• Represent Ditch Witch within local market at dealer open houses, trade shows and training events
• Ensure flawless execution of business programs and plans at dealer level

• Travel with Territory Managers to achieve objectives defined by Manager, Regional Business, Director, Sales and business plan
• Drive customer centric focus across our dealer network
• Partner with distributor sale managers to continuously develop field sales team effectiveness and coverage.
• Maintain effective external communications with key channel partners and provide weekly internal communications on product, programs, and competitive intelligence.
• Monitor and control travel and entertainment budgets within guidelines; review on a quarterly basis with manager.

Other Job-Related Components:

• Performs responsibilities under guidance of Manager, Regional Business. Works cross-functionally with marketing, engineering and customer care. Serves as a conduit to field sales and dealer sales channel including both direct and two-step selling.
• Direct sales responsibility for $60MM, 8 dealers and approximate 10 state territory.
• 60% travel required.Position will report onsite to the Perry, OK location when not traveling.

What Do You Need?

To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:

DSM I:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field; equivalent industry and sales experience in lieu of completed degree will be considered.
• Have 3+ years of experience in sales or as a factory representative.

RSM I:

• Bachelor's degree minimally required for RSM level.
• 5+ years of successful durable goods sales experience. Outdoor power equipment, power sports or related dealer sales experience preferred.
• Substantive business understanding of dealerships and/or distributorships.

In addition to the above required education/experience, this person must also have the following competencies:

• Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
• Excellent mentoring, coaching, negotiating and influential leadership skills.
• Ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators (ROI and KPIs)
• Familiarity with CRM software.
• Attributes desired include: highly motivated, self-starter, enthusiastic, strong relational skills, business acumen, competitive spirit and customer focused.

Competitive Salary - The pay range takes into account skills, experience, education, and location. It is not common to be hired at or near the top of the range; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The estimated pay range for this position is $84,000 - $110,000. Cash compensation is one piece of our competitive total rewards package.
