Job description

This position will support activities within Special Access Programs (SAPs) supporting Department of Defense (DoD) agencies, such as HQ Air Force, Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) and Military Compartments efforts. The position will provide “day-to-day” support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Program (SAP) activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides support to end users on a variety of issues. Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems.
  • Responds to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support. Documents, tracks, and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution.
  • Create, manage, and troubleshoot new and existing network user accounts.
  • Troubleshoot cloud printing issues and provide training support to end-users
  • Software installation and support of commercial software and related upgrades
  • Update solutions database with applicable resolutions
  • Problem solving, hardware/software installation and configuration based on computing standards, and client support for all network and desktop
  • Monitors and enforces all IT policies and procedures
  • Assist with setting up new users in IDAM and multiple level security LDAP profiles
  • Maintains, upgrades and repairs PCs/laptops and Window desktop applications for all systems

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility
  • Must meet position and certification requirements outlined in DoD Directive 8570.01-M for Information Assurance Technician Level I or Information Assurance Manager I within 6 months of the date of hire.
  • Minimum of one to three (1 – 3) years of experience in information technology or a related field
  • BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent experience preferred
  • Prior performance in roles such as System, Network Administrator or Information Technology/Assurance Specialists
  • Eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information
  • Willingness to submit to a Counterintelligence polygraph

WAGE INFORMATION

Target salary range: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00.  The salary range displayed is an estimate only and is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, and will be determined on several factors regarding the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract parameters and organizational requirements.  The displayed salary is one component of the total compensation package for employees.
