Job description

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Window Covering Installer to assemble and install window coverings at
Apple Valley Insulation - Reno.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Measure windows and install window coverings
  • Load and log materials onto the truck
  • Use drills and power tools to mount brackets, tracks, and hardware
  • Measure openings and verify proper installation alignment
  • Safely work on ladders and elevated surfaces
  • Maintain a clean and organized job site
  • Communicate professionally with customers and team members
  • Maintain tools and truck housekeeping, and maintenance
  • Comply with OSHA guidelines and Company Safety policies and procedures
  • Will be required to drive a company vehicle and follow all driving safety rules and DOT requirements at all times
  • Travel to installation sites throughout the region when required

Requirements:
  • Proficient using power tools, especially drills and drivers
  • Comfortable working at heights and climbing tall ladders
  • Ability to read and write clearly to understand work orders and installation instructions
  • Physically able to lift 75lbs
  • Ability to lift installation equipment and materials overhead
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow installation instructions
  • Professional, dependable, and willing to take on new responsibilities
  • Able to bend, twist, and turn the body at the shoulders, waist, and knees
  • Stand for extended periods of time
  • High School diploma or GED preferred
  • Bilingual is a plus!

Schedule: Monday-Friday
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00
This position requires a drug test and motor vehicle report to be completed, contingent upon employment.
Physical demands:
The physical demands of this role include standing for long periods, lift at least 75lbs, and handling materials and equipment. It requires manual dexterity, bending, and reaching, along with the ability to work in varying conditions while maintaining focus.
