Cook - Water's Edge Assisted Living, Lake Wales, Florida


Join our dedicated Food Services team at Water's Edge Assisted Living in Lake Wales, Florida, where we are committed to providing exceptional dining experiences for our senior residents. We are seeking a talented and experienced full-time cook who is passionate about preparing nutritious and appealing meals. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your culinary skills in a supportive environment that values quality, compassion, and teamwork.


Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook meals in accordance with dietary guidelines and resident preferences

- Ensure all food is prepared safely, hygienically, and in compliance with health regulations

- Assist in menu planning and ingredient selection to meet nutritional standards

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas

- Collaborate with team members to deliver timely and efficient food service

- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed

- Adapt to flexible scheduling, including some weekends, evenings, and holidays


Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a cook, preferably in a healthcare, assisted living, or senior care setting
