What kind of jobs in media bring in $150,000 a year?

In media, high-paying roles like senior visual content creators, art directors, or multimedia directors can earn $150,000 or more annually, especially with extensive experience, advanced skills in design software, and leadership responsibilities. These positions often require a strong portfolio, industry connections, and sometimes specialized certifications or advanced degrees.

Can content creation be a full-time job?

Full-time visual content creators can work as freelancers or employees, producing images, videos, and graphics for clients or companies. This career often requires skills in editing software, a strong portfolio, and consistent workflow management. Many creators sustain full-time roles by building a client base or working within media, marketing, or advertising teams.

How can I make 2000 a week working from home?

A full-time visual content creator can earn $2,000 a week by building a strong portfolio, consistently producing high-quality content, and monetizing through platforms like social media, stock image sites, or freelance marketplaces. • Design logos, icons, and other visual elements to support brand initiatives
  • Manage Creative Projects & Timelines:

    • Capturing content for digital media channels, including social and native, such as Meta, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Video editing:
    • Designing and cutting short form video ad concepts for digital media channels.
  • Photography/UGC:
    • Produce and style well-composed, visually compelling photographs/UGC that are consistent with clients’ brand aesthetics for digital media channels, including social and native;
    • Work with the Creative Team to develop and concept photography/UGC for all client creative campaigns and maintain the GeistM UGC Photo Library.
  • Maintain a backlog of ad concepts, pitching these concepts weekly in our Creative Team meetings;
  • Work with the Growth Marketing Team to review ad-level performance, record learnings, and iterate accordingly.

What you should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Marketing, Media, Design, or related field;
  • Proficiency in CapCut, Final Cut, Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, Illustrator), Figma, and/or Canva;
  • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.
  • 2 - 3 years of experience creating short form video content from scratch (e.g., YouTube vlogs, TikToks),
    • portfolio required (LinkedIn link not accepted);
  • Social media savvy with a strong understanding of social platform requirements and trends;
  • Knowledge of current social media/marketing/advertising industry trends and design techniques to bring fresh ideas to projects
  • Strong oral and written communication skills;
  • Excellent communication and organization skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities;
  • Comfortable being on camera (a plus);
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance and streamline creative workflows, bringing a forward-thinking mindset and innovative approach to content creation

Why you should come work with us:

  • Great coworkers and a fun collaborative environment;
  • Flexible hybrid structure
  • Required 1 day in office per week;
  • Career growth opportunities;
