Summary: Teardown, cleaning, & prep of electronic controls & assemblies.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None.
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Disassemble, scrape labels, cleaning, & polishing of electronic controls.
  • Identify different makes & models of electronic controls.
  • Identify worn & burnt PCB's or damaged cases & housing.
  • Make ready good parts for bench techs & assemblers.
  • Help maintain inventory of rebuildable parts.
  • Keep work area clean & organized.
  • Help maintain a safe work environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills & attention to detail.
  • Strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced & at times stressful environment.

Education & Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least two years related experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of working with hand tools & handheld power tools.

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of standing or sitting at a workbench.
  • Must be able to 40 pounds at times.
