Project Overview:

Fab 62 is an advanced semiconductor fabrication facility for Intel Corporation, located at Intel's Ocotillo campus in Chandler, Arizona. As part of this work, the M&T team is responsible for delivering the engineering, procurement, and construction scope required to complete and finish-out a leading-edge chipmaking facility — a highly demanding environment where precision, cleanliness, schedule certainty, and coordination across thousands of craft and professional personnel are essential to success. The project supports the continued expansion of domestic semiconductor manufacturing capacity, contributing to a more resilient technology supply chain while creating significant opportunity for the local Arizona workforce. Joining the Fab 62 team means contributing directly to one of the most strategically important construction efforts in the United States and helping deliver the infrastructure behind the next generation of microelectronics.

Job Summary:

The Lead Turnover Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, tracking, and facilitating the turnover of completed systems from construction to commissioning, startup, operations, and the client. The role serves as the primary coordinator between construction, field engineering, quality, completions, commissioning, operations, and project management organizations to ensure turnover packages, documentation, punch lists, and readiness requirements are completed in accordance with project procedures and milestone commitments. The Lead Turnover Coordinator drives system readiness, turnover efficiency, and completion performance throughout the project lifecycle.

Major Responsibilities:
  • Lead turnover and field engineering activities for assigned systems, areas, or operating sections, including team priorities, work assignments, progress tracking, and procedural compliance.
  • Coordinate construction-to-startup turnover planning, readiness reviews, system walkdowns, completion activities, punch list validation, and turnover package completion.
  • Align turnover scope, sequencing, priorities, system boundaries, schedules, work packaging, and completion requirements with construction, startup, commissioning, quality, project controls, subcontractors, and client stakeholders.
  • Direct preparation, review, completion, and control of turnover documentation, inspection records, quality records, completions data, punch list records, and required project documentation.
  • Manage quantity reporting, turnover progress tracking, completion forecasting, database accuracy, automation tool use, and data analysis to support work planning and management decisions.
  • Coordinate subcontract turnover activities, submittals, inspection test plans, field documentation, invoices, progress reporting, RFIs, field changes, and schedule integration for assigned scope.
  • Support safety, housekeeping, quality, environmental, and procedural expectations while identifying risks, resolving constraints, escalating issues, and facilitating completions and turnover meetings.
Education and Experience Requirements:

Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10  years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience lieu of degree.

Required Knowledge and Skills:
  • Knowledge of field engineering management responsibilities, including supervision, work direction, procedural compliance, and execution within established policies and management guidance.
  • Ability to lead turnover coordination for assigned systems or areas, including readiness planning, system walkdowns, turnover package completion, punch list validation, and construction-to-startup interfaces.
  • Working knowledge of construction engineering procedures, safety and quality requirements, environmental controls, contract requirements, inspection records, and project documentation standards.
  • Experience coordinating with construction management, superintendents, subcontractors, startup, commissioning, quality, project controls, client representatives, and operating personnel to resolve turnover and field execution issues.
  • Proficiency with quantity reporting, progress tracking, forecasting, completions, punch list, turnover, automation, reporting, and document control systems.
  • Strong planning, delegation, communication, facilitation, stakeholder engagement, judgment, and problem-solving skills to support schedule commitments, turnover readiness, and short-term project objectives.
