Job description

Do you have an eye for design, a head for structure, and a knack for building relationships? Weโ€™re looking for a full-time Truss Designer and Sales Representative to join a growing truss manufacturing team in Fargo, ND. If you're experienced in truss design and ready to combine technical skill with customer-facing sales, this is your chance to make a real impact and grow with a company that values precision, speed, and personality.

What You'll be Doing:

  • Designing custom roof, floor, and wall truss systems for residential and commercial projects
  • Collaborating closely with builders, contractors, and teammates to meet specs, codes, and deadlines
  • Participating in both inside and occasional outside sales opportunities
  • Communicating clearly and professionally with clients and internal teams
  • Managing project documentation, revisions, and timely follow-through
  • Supporting a high-volume, fast-paced design and sales environment

Who We're Looking For:

  • 3โ€“5 years of hands-on truss design experience in both residential and commercial applications
  • Alpine software experience (preferred); open to fast learners willing to train
  • Outgoing, professional communicator who thrives in a collaborative, team-driven atmosphere
  • Willing to work 40โ€“50 hours per week to meet project timelines
  • Open to relocating to Fargo, ND
  • Able and willing to provide design samples upon request
