What is a full time tree farm worker?

A full time tree farm worker is someone employed at a tree farm, where they are responsible for tasks such as planting, cultivating, pruning, and harvesting trees. These trees may be grown for timber, landscaping, or holiday purposes like Christmas trees. The job often involves physical labor outdoors, including operating machinery, applying fertilizers, and maintaining the health of the trees. Full time positions typically require a strong work ethic, attention to safety, and sometimes knowledge of horticulture or forestry practices.

What are the typical daily responsibilities of someone working full-time on a tree farm?

Working full-time on a tree farm involves a variety of tasks that can change with the seasons. Daily responsibilities may include planting and watering young trees, monitoring tree health for pests or diseases, pruning branches, and operating machinery for tasks like mowing or moving heavy materials. Employees often work outdoors in various weather conditions and collaborate closely with a small team to ensure the trees grow efficiently. During peak seasons, such as harvest or planting, overtime may be required to meet production goals.
