Position: Full-time Traveling Specialty Assistant (OS, ENDO, PERIO)


For the dynamic professional who exudes initiative and thrives in a fast-paced environment, we are also seeking a Full-time Traveling Specialty Assistant. This role encompasses various specialties, including OS (Oral Surgery), ENDO (Endodontics), and PERIO (Periodontics).


Compensation

  • Competitive Pay: $23-27 per hour (DOE)

Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients to our dental office and ensure their comfort
  • Prepare patients for treatments or checkups
  • Select and set up instruments, equipment, and materials as needed
  • Adhere to strict instrument sterilization protocols
  • Assist dentists through 4-handed dentistry
  • Perform lab tasks as instructed
  • Offer post-operative care instructions and oral hygiene guidance
  • Maintain a clean and well-stocked dental room
  • Schedule patient appointments
  • Keep precise patient records and assist with payment procedures


Skills

  • Proficiency with dental instruments and sterilization techniques
  • In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks such as coronal polishing is a plus
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • High school diploma; graduation from a dental assistant school is preferred
  • Additional certifications or training, such as OSMA/OA, are considered assets

  • RDA (Registered Dental Assistant)
