The Role
The Elior Education Growth team is seeking a Business Development Manager (BDM), Inside Sales who is motivated and committed to sales generation. In this position you will report to the SVP Growth with support from the Dir, Growth Enablement and (Sr.) Business Development Directors as mentors with support in learning Elior's sales process.
In this role you will support the Education segment drive for sustainable growth through lead generation. As a key member of the Education Growth Team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our company's growth & future. This position offers a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise and collaboration skills in a fast-paced and evolving industry.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across Elior Education's collegiate, independent school, and K-12 markets
  • Own outbound prospecting and cold outreach to build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients
  • Research schools, universities, districts, and other educational organizations to identify potential opportunities and key decision-makers
  • Engage senior leaders, including school administrators, university leaders, presidents, vice presidents, and other decision-makers
  • Conduct initial discovery conversations to understand prospective clients' dining programs, needs, challenges, and future plans
  • Qualify prospects and determine alignment with Elior Education's services and ideal client profile
  • Build relationships with prospective clients throughout a long-term, consultative sales process
  • Partner with Business Development and Operations leaders to transition qualified opportunities and support the sales process
  • Maintain accurate prospect, activity, and pipeline information in Microsoft Dynamics CRM
  • Use prospecting and research tools, including Seamless.AI and internal databases, to identify contacts and new opportunities
  • Track outreach, follow-up activity, and movement through the sales funnel
  • Develop targeted outreach strategies based on geography, institution type, and business opportunity
  • Stay informed on trends and developments within the education and foodservice markets
  • Represent Elior Education professionally in virtual meetings, presentations, industry events, and client conversations
  • Support broader growth initiatives and sales campaigns as needed

What We're Looking For
  • Experience in inside sales, business development, lead generation, or a related B2B sales role
  • Experience with outbound prospecting and cold calling in a new-business environment
  • Background selling services or solutions through a consultative sales process
  • Experience working within foodservice, facilities management, hospitality, education services, or another service-based industry preferred
  • Ability to research organizations, identify decision-makers, and develop new contacts
  • Experience engaging executive and senior-level stakeholders
  • Comfortable working within long sales cycles and maintaining relationships over time
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple prospects and opportunities at different stages of the sales funnel
  • Experience using CRM and prospecting tools; Microsoft Dynamics and Seamless.AI experience is a plus
  • Self-directed and comfortable working in a role focused heavily on developing new business
  • Ability to travel as needed for client meetings, industry events, and sales activities

Compensation
$100,000-$110,000 annually based on experience.
