Job description

Are you looking for a full time career? Do you have experience operating machinery? Have you worked in a Manufacturing Environment? Do you have at least one year of sit down forklift experience? Do you have the ability to lift at least 50 pounds? Are you a hard worker? If so, we are looking for a skilled person to join our operation and become part of our team.

This position operates a large Crusher, Washer or Phase III for the aerospace market, uses a forklift and is cross trained on using other large machinery and specialty equipment. A great candidate is dependable, follows direction and is able to work with attention to detail and follow safety standards.

Physical aspects –This position requires repeated standing, stooping, bending, twisting, pulling, tugging and lifting up to 50lbs; able to work in hot and cold conditions. Possible overtime and weekend work available.

Shift Hours – 5:00 am to 1:30 pm Monday through Friday.

Paid every Friday.

Responsibilities:

  • To see that the material is processed in a timely manner, always focusing on requirements.
  • Maintain the integrity of the material throughout the process.
  • Maintain the necessary paperwork.
  • Cleanliness: General housekeeping is focused on daily.
  • Working on feet, moving around and physical tasks
  • Repetitive work
  • Operating a sit-down forklift

Ability to:

  • Operate heavy machinery.
  • Operate a forklift, manlift.
  • Follow instructions and work to procedures.
  • Communicate.
  • Ability to cross-train in multiple departments.
  • Work alone or as part of a team.
  • Willing to work overtime as needed is a plus.
  • Mechanical ability would be a plus.
  • The ideal candidate would have 2 to 5 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
