Position Overview

The IT Support Technician plays a vital role in maintaining the technology systems that keep our business running smoothly. This position provides hands-on support for hardware, software, networking, and end-user systems across our organization. You will troubleshoot issues, assist team members with technical needs, and contribute to IT projects that enhance efficiency at every level of the business.

This role is a great fit for someone who is self-motivated, enjoys solving problems, and takes pride in keeping systems - and people - running at their best.

Key Responsibilities
  • Help Desk Support:Review, prioritize, and resolve help desk requests in a timely manner
  • Hardware Support:Diagnose, repair, and troubleshoot hardware-related issues
  • Software Support:Install, configure, and maintain approved software applications
  • Network Support:Run and terminate network cables; assist with troubleshooting basic network connectivity issues
  • System Deployment:Configure and deploy new systems and devices to end users
  • Cyber Security:Ensure adherence to cybersecurity best practices and maintain compliance with PCI standards to protect systems and sensitive data
  • IT Projects:Support and execute various IT-related projects as assigned
  • Video Surveillance:Review footage, research incidents, and export video files for internal use or law enforcement as needed
Qualifications
Required
  • Proven experience as an IT Support Technician or in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting
  • Proficiency with Windows operating systems and Microsoft applications
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
Education & Certifications
  • Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Administration, or a related field preferred - an equivalent combination of education, training, and hands-on experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Relevant IT certifications preferred, including CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent
