Job description

Cobb Children's Learning Center (CCLC) is seeking a dedicated and adaptable Full-Time Floater Teacher to join our team. We are a warm, inclusive community focused on the well-being and development of children from various age groups. This full-time, hourly position plays a crucial role in providing support across classrooms, ensuring smooth operations when staff are absent, and contributing to the nurturing and educational environment at CCLC.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide support across different age groups, assisting in classroom activities and daily routines.
  • Step in for absent staff members and provide scheduled breaks for staff to ensure continuity.
  • Assist in the preparation of learning materials and classroom setups.
  • Support the emotional and developmental needs of children in various classrooms.
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to maintain a cohesive and professional learning environment.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, including documenting and reporting concerns or incidents as a mandatory reporter.
  • Attend all staff meetings and maintain professional conduct within the CCLC community.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director or other supervisory staff.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
  • Engage in active play with children, including moving quickly and lifting children when necessary.
