Position Overview

Mountain Springs Wellness & Counseling Services is seeking dedicated Licensed Professional Counselors (LPCs) to join our telehealth team. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough intakes for new patients, focusing on diagnostic evaluations to help the primary care team tailor treatment plans.
  • Deliver brief, targeted therapeutic interventions for individuals requiring mental health support, with sensitivity to their specific cultural and emotional needs.
  • Collaborate with primary care providers to identify and manage patients with complex psychosocial issues, ensuring a holistic approach to their care.
  • Initiate and maintain follow-up contact with patients to assess treatment effectiveness and make necessary adjustments.
  • Develop relapse prevention plans for at-risk individuals, offering strategies to enhance their resilience and maintain stable functioning.
  • Document patient progress meticulously in treatment charts, ensuring compliance with relevant Agency and Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) guidelines.
  • Facilitate connections with other health services as appropriate, always emphasizing teamwork and communication with the patient's permission.
  • Assist patients in navigating medical treatments initiated by primary care providers, including managing potential medication side effects.
  • Provide insight and recommendations to clinic management on enhancing behavioral health services.
  • Adhere strictly to the Code of Ethical Conduct for Clinical Professionals, and maintain professional integrity at all times.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your patient demographic will consist of individuals from various backgrounds facing diverse mental health challenges. We emphasize a holistic and culturally competent approach, encouraging counselors to engage with patients empathetically and effectively. Qualifications
  • A Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in Texas.

  • Excellent communication skills, capable of connecting with a diverse patient base and interdisciplinary team members.

Compensation and Benefits
