The Care Project is actively seeking a dedicated and passionate full-time Orthopedic Physical Therapist (PT) to join our growing rehabilitation team situated in North Houston, Texas. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in the recovery journey of our patients, enhancing their mobility and overall quality of life through targeted therapy and rehabilitation techniques. About the Organization

The Care Project is a well-established rehabilitation facility designed to provide high-quality orthopedic outpatient care. Our state-of-the-art facility, spanning 5,000 square feet, is equipped with advanced sports medicine technology and tools. Our team comprises two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA) who work collaboratively to ensure optimal patient outcomes. We take pride in prioritizing our patients' well-being, predominantly serving individuals with private medical insurance.

Work Environment

This full-time position operates onsite within our vibrant rehabilitation facility located in North Houston. The working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured work-life balance. The facility is designed to foster teamwork and collaboration, ensuring a supportive environment for therapists to discuss cases, share insights, and continuously improve our treatment methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and recognize the specific objectives and treatment requirements of each patient upon intake.
• Maintain a manageable patient load of one individual per hour, allowing for focused, high-quality therapy sessions.
• Administer cost-effective therapeutic modalities that enhance range of motion and mobility while minimizing the need for medication or surgical interventions.
• Develop and implement thorough treatment plans utilizing a range of therapeutic techniques tailored to each patient's needs.
• Create customized fitness and wellness programs that focus on improving overall health and functionality.
• Provide evidence-based, individualized care that enhances patient outcomes based on the latest therapeutic interventions.
• Engage and motivate patients during their rehabilitation process to encourage optimal recovery.
• Promote a healthy lifestyle by enhancing clients' strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination through targeted interventions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Continually evaluate the effectiveness of treatments, track patient progress, and refine treatment strategies as necessary.
• Document all services and treatment provided accurately and in a timely manner.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population includes athletes recuperating from sports injuries, individuals recovering from surgery, and those managing chronic pain. Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy or higher (Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred).
• A valid State License to practice as a Physical Therapist in Texas.
• No history of disciplinary or board actions on your physical therapy license.
• Proficient knowledge and expertise in manual therapy and exercise program development.
• Experience using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software, such as WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 1 year of professional experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Demonstrated success in formulating and implementing comprehensive rehabilitation plans.
• Previous experience working collaboratively in a team-oriented rehabilitation environment.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
