We are currently looking for a Talent Acquisition Lead to join our dynamic, fast-paced, and growing team. The Talent Acquisition (TA) Lead will be responsible for supporting high-volume recruiting efforts while driving best-in-class candidate experiences and strategic hiring initiatives. The TA Lead will recruit for a variety of positions including but not limited to Professional, Technical, Production and Temporary roles as well as support and lead the day-to-day execution of the organization’s talent acquisition strategy by ensuring a consistent, efficient, and high-quality hiring process across all business functions. This role serves as the operational lead for the Talent Acquisition team, balancing full-cycle recruiting responsibilities with oversight of recruiting operations, recruiter performance, process optimization, and stakeholder partnership.
The Talent Acquisition Lead will drive hiring process consistency, oversee requisition allocation and workload balancing across the recruiting team, monitor recruiting performance and pipeline health, coach recruiters on best practices, and ensure exceptional experiences for both candidates and hiring managers. This individual will partner closely with business leaders to develop proactive hiring strategies that support organizational growth while continuously improving recruiting processes, metrics, and employer branding initiatives.
What You Will Be Doing
Talent Acquisition Lead
  • Serve as the day-to-day operational lead for the Talent Acquisition function, ensuring recruiting priorities align with business objectives.
  • Drive consistency and accountability throughout the recruitment lifecycle by standardizing hiring practices, interview processes, candidate evaluations, and communication.
  • Support the allocation and balancing of requisition workload across the recruiting team to maximize efficiency and service delivery.
  • Monitor recruiter productivity, requisition progress, pipeline health, aging requisitions, and hiring metrics to proactively identify challenges and implement solutions.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop recruiters on sourcing strategies, candidate engagement, stakeholder management, interview best practices, and recruiting effectiveness.
  • Provide guidance and support on complex or difficult-to-fill searches while serving as an escalation point for recruiting challenges.
  • Partner with the Director of Talent to establish recruiting priorities, workforce planning initiatives, and continuous improvement strategies.
Recruitment amp; Sourcing
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for high-volume roles across departments, from requisition to onboarding.
  • Develop and execute effective sourcing strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, social media, and networking.
  • Maintain strong pipelines of qualified candidates for both immediate and future needs.
  • Screen, interview, and assess candidates based on role requirements and organizational fit.
Stakeholder Management
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand business needs, job specifications, and ideal candidate profiles.
  • Provide regular updates, guidance, and support to hiring teams throughout the recruitment process.
  • Provide consultative guidance to hiring managers regarding labor market trends, compensation competitiveness, candidate availability, and hiring best practices.
  • Conduct intake meetings and facilitate debriefs to ensure alignment and consistency in decision-making.
Employer Branding
  • Collaborate across HR and Rhoads leadership to promote employer brand initiatives and recruitment campaigns.
  • Champion a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring journey.
  • Represent the company at recruiting events, career fairs, and networking engagements.
Reporting amp; Compliance
  • Track and analyze recruiting metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, source effectiveness, candidate conversion rates).
  • Supporting Talent Director in preparing weekly/monthly reports and present key insights to HR and senior leadership.
  • Ensure recruiting practices align with internal policies and compliance standards (e.g., EEO, OFCCP, GDPR).
  • Assist in the development of the job descriptions and create compelling and accurate job postings to attract qualified candidates. Post job openings on various platforms in compliance with the company’s AAP Plan and monitor the responses.
Process Improvement amp; Talent Strategy
  • Lead initiatives to standardize recruitment workflows, documentation, interview guides, and hiring manager practices across the organization.
  • Continuously evaluate recruiting processes and recommend improvements that increase efficiency, reduce time-to-fill, and improve candidate quality.
  • Partner with HR and business leaders to optimize Applicant Tracking System (ATS) workflows and reporting capabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, EEO, OFCCP, affirmative action requirements, and employment laws throughout the hiring process.
  • Support implementation of recruiting technologies, automation initiatives, and process enhancements.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Performs additional related duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational goals.
Your Background
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Certification in HR or Recruiting (i.e. PHR, SHRM-CP, AIRS) a plus
  • 7+ years of experience in full-cycle recruitment, with at least 5 years in high-volume or corporate environments.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience serving in a lead, senior recruiter, or recruiting operations capacity with responsibility for driving recruiting processes, leading projects, etc.
  • Strong proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), sourcing tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with data-driven recruitment and reporting.
  • Experience supporting corporate functions (i.e. Operations, IT, Finance, Quality, Safety, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge and experience implementing employer branding strategies across platforms such as Glassdoor, LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.
The Work Environment at Rhoads
  • The performance of this position involves exposure to construction or industrial areas where the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hard hats and hearing protection is required.
