Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking a full time Systems Engineer (w/Modeling focus) to support our work as a prime contractor on a high-profile U.S. Navy weapon system. As part of the Interfaces Management team, the selected candidate is expected to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and possess the ability to operate independently and as part of a group.
This position supports two key roles. The first is the definition and allocation of weapon system interface requirements, achieved through technical evaluation of requested interface changes and interaction with government activities and other prime contractors. The second is enhancing the thoroughness and accuracy of impact assessments and compatibility verifications of proposed interface requirements changes. This is achieved through migrating existing artifacts into digital engineering tools to support model-based reviews. Limited travel to off-site locations may be required.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Education and years of related/relevant work experience required: Bachelor's degree in Systems, Mechanical, or Aerospace engineering or similar and four years of professional experience.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $97008 - $164914
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
