This role is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from home while directly impacting the lives of students and families in the Eugene, Oregon area. As an LCSW at Balanced Well Being LLC, you will collaborate closely with educators, counselors, and healthcare providers within a school setting to ensure integrated support for students. • Engage one-on-one with students in both virtual and occasional in-person settings, providing clinical assessments, individual, group, and family therapy addressing a range of emotional and behavioral challenges.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary teams to collaborate on treatment plans, ensuring alignment with educational goals and community resources.
• Conduct developmentally appropriate screenings and assessments, responding to the unique needs of each student while tailoring interventions.
• Create and implement integrated care plans that connect students and families with necessary services, fostering an environment of communication and collaboration among all stakeholders.
• Monitor and document progress, providing timely updates to school staff, families, and other service providers as needed.
• Participate in crisis interventions, acting swiftly and sensitively to provide immediate support to students in distress.
• Contribute to agency committees focused on quality improvement and enhancing service delivery to better meet the needs of our community.

The client focus for this position includes students from various backgrounds who exhibit symptoms of major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders. Many of these students may come from underprivileged backgrounds, necessitating a strong emphasis on cultural competence and sensitivity to their unique experiences. Building trust and rapport is vital, as many students may feel isolated or uncertain about seeking help.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or a related field is required.
• At least two years of clinical experience in social work, preferably in educational settings or with youth populations.
• Expert knowledge of assessment, diagnosis, and treatment methodologies for mental health issues within school-age populations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate sensitive information effectively to diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team and navigate the complexities of organizational structures.
• Competency in crisis management and a commitment to maintaining professional ethics and standards at all times.

• Experience working with diverse populations, their cultural backgrounds, and their unique interpersonal dynamics.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices in clinical social work, especially within school systems.
• Demonstrated ability in implementing integrated care plans successfully.

The salary for the Licensed Clinical Social Worker role ranges from $70,000 to $85,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
