Joignez-vous a Hitachi Energie a titre d'ingenieur principal en genie civil et structural et contribuez a la realisation de solutions d'ingenierie pour des projets de postes a isolation dans l'air (AIS), de postes a isolation gazeuse (GIS) et de systemes FACTS (Flexible AC Transmission Systems). Dans ce role hybride base a Montreal, vous coordonnerez et executerez les activites de genie civil et structural soutenant la securite, la qualite, la fiabilite, les echeanciers et la performance des couts des projets. Vos responsabilites comprendront la conception technique, les revues d'ingenierie, la conformite aux codes ainsi que le soutien a la construction et aux activites sur le terrain pour des applications de postes haute tension et de systemes FACTS. Vous contribuerez a la resolution de defis de conception complexes, a la preparation des livrables d'ingenierie et assumerez le role d'ingenieur responsable pour les projets qui vous seront confies. Grace a la conception et a la realisation d'infrastructures essentielles, ce poste contribue a la fiabilite et a l'evolution continue des reseaux electriques.

  • Fournir des solutions d'ingenierie rentables repondant aux exigences budgetaires et contractuelles.
  • Veiller au respect des exigences de securite et a l'attenuation des risques potentiels.
  • Elaborer des plans de travail et des estimations de couts en genie civil et structural.
  • Preparer les criteres de conception et les livrables d'ingenierie necessaires a l'execution des projets.
  • Realiser des travaux d'ingenierie en conception structurale, conception de batiments, conception de fondations et specifications de materiaux pour les applications de postes haute tension et FACTS.
  • Resoudre les enjeux de conception et assurer la conformite aux codes nationaux et locaux.

Votre profil
  • Le candidat doit deja detenir l'autorisation de travail lui permettant de travailler pour Hitachi Energie au Canada.
  • Baccalaureat en genie civil ou en genie des structures.
  • Minimum de 7 annees d'experience en genie civil et/ou structural.

The Opportunity

Join Hitachi Energy as a Senior Civil Structural Engineer and contribute to the delivery of engineering solutions for Air Insulated Switchgear (AIS), Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS), and Flexible AC Transmission System (FACTS) projects. In this hybrid role based in Montreal, Canada, you will coordinate and execute civil and structural engineering activities that support project safety, quality, reliability, schedule, and cost performance. Your work will include engineering design, technical reviews, code compliance, and construction support for high-voltage substation and FACTS applications. You will resolve complex design challenges, develop engineering deliverables, and serve as Engineer of Record on assigned projects. Through the design and delivery of critical infrastructure, this role contributes to the reliability and ongoing advancement of electric power systems.

Your Background

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in civil and/or structural engineering.
  • Experience serving as a professionally licensed engineer and supporting civil and structural engineering for high-voltage substation and FACTS applications.
