Description

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Fire Sprinkler Fitters for projects located in the Prescott, AZ area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $25-27/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Fire Sprinkler Fitter and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity, and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

Job Scope:          

  • Install wet fire sprinkler systems on commercial construction projects
  • Measure, fit, and install steel sprinkler pipe according to project drawings and specifications
  • Assemble and install risers, pumps, valves, and associated mechanical components for fire protection systems
  • Hang and support sprinkler piping using hangers and supports attached to roof trusses and structural steel
  • Cut, thread, and assemble pipe while ensuring proper alignment and system integrity
  • Work safely at heights from ladders, lifts, and scaffolding while following all OSHA and site safety requirements
  • Perform pressure testing, adjustments, and assist with system startup as needed
Requirements
  • Basic hand tools, channel locks, pipe wrenches, drill/impact driver
  • Previous commercial fire sprinkler installation experience
  • Experience working with steel pipe and wet sprinkler systems
  • Ability to read blueprints and install piping accurately
  • OSHA 10 is a plus
  • A personal fall protection harness is a plus, but not required
