Position Overview

ProFlex Sports and Wellness is on the lookout for a dedicated and skilled Full-Time Sports Rehabilitation Physical Therapist to join our exceptional team in Carson City, Nevada. This role is integral to enhancing our athletes' recovery processes and improving their overall performance metrics. You will be entrusted with evaluating patients, devising tailored treatment plans, and conducting therapeutic interventions aimed at optimizing function and recovery.

Work Environment

The role is performed entirely onsite at our well-equipped outpatient office, where you will work alongside a dedicated team of professionals. Our clinic operates Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, maintaining a manageable schedule that promotes a healthy work-life balance. Our state-of-the-art facility includes advanced therapeutic equipment, private treatment rooms, and areas specifically designed for functional rehabilitation exercises. You will interact with a diverse team of orthopedic surgeons, sports medicine physicians, and athletic trainers, fostering a collaborative treatment atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

As a Sports Rehabilitation Physical Therapist, your primary duties will include:

  • Creating personalized rehabilitation plans tailored to the unique needs of athletes recovering from orthopedic surgeries and various sports injuries.
  • Conducting thorough evaluations of patients presenting with sports-related injuries such as ligament tears, fractures, sprains, and strains.
  • Implementing effective treatment interventions, which may include manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and progressive strengthening programs.
  • Designing and facilitating sports rehabilitation and injury prevention programs tailored to the specific demands of each athlete.
  • Providing patient education focused on injury prevention strategies, sport-specific conditioning, and recovery techniques.
  • Collaborating closely with orthopedic surgeons, sports medicine physicians, athletic trainers, and performance coaches to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
  • Maintaining precise documentation and progress reports using our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, ensuring compliance and continuity of care.

You will primarily work with a diverse group of athletes ranging from amateur to elite competitors who seek recovery from sports-related injuries. Qualifications

  • Possession of an active Physical Therapist license in the state of Nevada.
