Does the thought of instructing and assisting facility users with fitness equipment, and promoting lifestyle programs appeal to you?  If so, then join the team at the Sports Core as a Fitness Trainer, where your hard work and customer service skills will be appreciated and recognized! 

As a Fitness Trainer for Sports Core, you will be responsible for:

  • Promoting and performing lifestyle programs, assessments and personal training services according to Sports Core standards.
  • Performing fitness services with minimal direction. Includes body fat testing (calipers and Microfit), girth measurements, weight, cardiovascular step test, sit/reach flexibility testing and strength testing.
  • Promoting, designing and performing long-term personal training programs according to the needs and goals of healthy, average adults.
  • Effectively demonstrating and assisting facility users with fitness equipment in all fitness and training areas according to quality standards.
  • Maintaining accurate member and personal client records according to standard operating procedures.
  • Assisting with set-up, cleaning and preventative maintenance for all fitness related equipment (weight benches, racks and equipment, Spinning bikes and any pool needs).

This is a full-time position working weekdays and weekends. Shifts vary between 5:00 am - 8:00 pm.
