Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently operate a Knuckle Boom Crane.
  • Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
  • Load, unload, and properly secure materials.
  • Execute lifts safely while following lift plans and job site requirements.
  • Read work orders and follow dispatch instructions accurately.
  • Maintain equipment in clean, professional operating condition.
  • Report maintenance or mechanical issues immediately.
  • Complete all required inspection reports and paperwork.
  • Follow all OSHA, DOT, DOB, and company safety regulations.
  • Maintain a professional attitude with customers, coworkers, and project managers.
  • Represent Positive Lifting with professionalism on every job site.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience operating a Knuckle Boom Crane (required).
  • Valid CDL Driver's License.
  • Current NCCCO Crane Certification (or equivalent).
  • NYC Hoisting Machine Operator (HMO) License.
  • Excellent understanding of crane safety and load securement.
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Clean driving record is a must!
