Job description

As a highly motivated and creative Social Media Specialist at Gleim, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing social media strategies that enhance brand awareness, support marketing, and boost sales efforts. You will develop and manage high-quality, engaging content across various social platforms, working closely with the marketing team and stakeholders across the company to maintain a consistent brand voice.
Responsibilities:
  • Social Media Campaigns: Design and execute advertising campaigns to promote products and events. Set clear objectives and keep in line with established, brand, voice, and tone.
  • Implement a content editorial calendar to manage content and plan specific, timely marketing campaigns.
  • Communicate the Gleim brand in a positive, authentic way that will attract target market.
  • Keep up to date with the latest social media trends and best practices to ensure strategies remain relevant.
  • Generate inbound traffic and turn followers into customers through content development and strategy. Propose ideas for lead generating and demand generating content.
  • Work closely with the digital marketing strategist to set engagement and conversion strategy.
  • Track Performances: Use tools like Facebook Insights, Google Analytics, and other native social media analytics tools to monitor the efficacy of social media campaigns and strategies.
  • Report Insights: Regularly report on social media engagement (likes, shares, comments), growth of follower base, and other key performance indicators (KPIs). Use these insights to refine strategies.
  • Work closely with other team members and different departments, including but not limited to sales, and customer service, to ensure that the social media strategy supports overall business goals.

Requirements:
  • Applicable 4-year degree in Social Media Marketing, Digital Media, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in a social media role is a plus.
  • Knowledgeable about social media best practices.
  • Understanding of social media KPIs.
  • Must be able to work full-time on-site in Gainesville, Florida.
  • Previous experience with video or familiarity in education, aviation, exam prep, and/or accounting spaces, prior acting as a subject matter expert a plus.
