Experience Level: Mid-Level | 2+ years Swiss setup experience

This position plays an important role in supporting precision manufacturing while ensuring machines are running efficiently and producing quality parts.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys setup work, problem-solving, and maximizing machine performance rather than simply loading parts and pressing cycle start.

The Work You'll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

  • Set up and operate CNC Star Swiss lathes
  • Read and interpret blueprints and customer specifications
  • Configure tooling, offsets, and machine setups to achieve optimal performance
  • Perform first-piece and in-process inspections
  • Change tooling and offsets as needed
  • Make machine adjustments to maintain part quality
  • Perform G-code edits and machine troubleshooting when required
  • Complete preventative maintenance activities
  • Work independently while collaborating with production and quality teams

You'll work with equipment such as:

Machines:

  • CNC Star Swiss Lathes
  • Swiss-style turning equipment
  • Single turret lathe equipment

Programming:

  • G-Code editing

Inspection Tools:

  • Calipers

What We're Looking ForRequired:

  • 2+ years of CNC Swiss setup experience
  • 2+ years working with Swiss lathe machines
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
  • Experience changing tools and offsets
  • Ability to inspect parts independently
  • Comfortable working independently and in a team environment
  • Strong troubleshooting and setup skills

Preferred (Not Required):

  • Toolmaking experience
  • Experience with CNC Star Swiss machines
  • G-code editing experience
  • Additional machine programming exposure
