Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Sewing Machine Operator to join a furniture manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience sewing upholstery materials and using industrial sewing machines to produce high-quality furniture components.

Responsibilities
  • Operate industrial sewing machines to sew upholstery fabrics, vinyl, and leather
  • Assemble and sew cushions, seat covers, backs, arms, and other furniture components
  • Read work orders and follow production specifications
  • Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and consistency
  • Measure, trim, and prepare materials before sewing
  • Perform basic machine maintenance and report equipment issues
  • Meet daily production goals while maintaining quality standards
  • Keep work area clean and organized
  • Follow all company safety procedures
Qualifications
  • Previous experience operating industrial sewing machines is required
  • Furniture upholstery sewing experience required
