Full Time Role
Security Officers are to ensure the safety and security of our premises, assets, staff, and visitors. We are looking for a highly competent security officer to join our team to monitor and protect the premises. Our ideal candidate will have prior experience as a security officer or guard, as well as training in self-defense and first aid. He or she will have a sharp eye with quick reaction time in the detection of any suspicious or criminal behavior, and prevention of theft or vandalism. This service includes:
  • Performing security patrols on foot or in vehicle
  • Maintaining site security and watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards
  • Permitting authorized persons to enter property
  • Preparing reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities
  • Providing assistance to residents, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
  • Responding to emergencies
  • Ensuring the safety of all residents
Required:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid NC drivers license
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Desire to serve senior adults
  • Positive outlook
  • Ability to take initiative and be detailed oriented
  • Working independently and on a team
  • Flexible and able to handle a fast pace
