Description
GENERAL INFORMATION
The Department of Philosophy at the College of the Holy Cross invites
applications for a visiting full-time faculty position for the Spring 2026 semester
to begin immediately.
The specializations will include Metaphysics, and God and the Problem of Evil.
Visiting full-time faculty teach 3 courses each semester and are eligible to apply for support to present at a conference or attend a professional development program through the Provost's Supplemental Research Fund. The College will support
reimbursement of relocation costs within its published policies.
This position offers a salary of $35,000 for the semester and includes full benefits.
The College will not support H-1B applications that require the $100,000 employer
fee.
QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates must demonstrate commitment to, and excellence in, undergraduate
teaching and inclusive pedagogies as informed by current practice and scholarship in the field.
