Release Train Engineer

The Opportunity:

As a scrum master, you're passionate about outcomes and supporting a development team that's modernizing critical projects. You know the importance of Agile best practices and how to combat challenges early to get work done. We need an experienced scrum master like you to lead technical teams and Agile releases.

On our team, you'll coach a development team to their highest performance level, while ensuring the scrum project is successfully progressed. You'll ensure scrum principles and approaches are understood correctly by the team and key stakeholders. Using tools like Jira and Confluence, you'll strengthen sustainable process improvements to help your team and mission outcomes.

In this role, you'll directly impact the results of law enforcement. This is an opportunity to grow your experience while successfully delivering project solutions.

You Have:

  • 8+ years of experience performing as a scrum master, release train engineer, Agile coach, or business analyst in an Agile environment

  • 2+ years of experience facilitating Agile events in SAFe

  • Experience with Jira and Confluence to manage teams, tasks, events, and outcomes

  • Experience communicating with product owners, managers, and development teams

  • Knowledge of various Agile frameworks and methodologies

  • Ability to apply critical thinking to data analytics, metrics, or impediments and provide recommended solutions

  • Ability to deliver results across multiple development teams and work streams

  • Top Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience leading large technical migration efforts

  • Knowledge of AWS cloud services

  • TS/SCI clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
