Position Overview: The Setup Operator is responsible for supporting daily logistics and order processing activities. This role ensures accurate intake of customer orders, proper documentation, and system setup for all incoming parts. The position requires close collaboration with the Logistics and Customer Service teams to maintain efficiency and accuracy throughout the workflow.


Essential Job Responsibilities: 


Order Receipt:

Receive and process incoming shipments on the logistics floor

Open and inspect boxes to verify contents against order documentation

Enter new orders into the system with a high degree of accuracy

Create and organize job packets for production use

Assign and track box locations within the facility

Safely lift and handle materials up to 25 lbs


Media Setup:

Scan and upload documents into the system for recordkeeping

Take clear and accurate photos of incoming parts for identification and tracking

Create new part numbers in the system as needed

Verify order details and customer information for accuracy

Maintain organized digital records to support operations

Other duties as assigned.


Collaboration & Communication:

Work closely with Customer Service Representatives to ensure order accuracy

Partner with the Logistics team to support workflow and inventory tracking

Communicate any discrepancies or issues in a timely manner


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Combination of warehouse floor and office-based tasks.

Exposure to standard warehouse conditions including noise and movement of materials.

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Ability to lift and move items up to 25 lbs.

Comfortable working on the logistics/warehouse floor.

Requirements

Minimum Job Requirements:

2+ years' experience in a warehouse, manufacturing or industrial setting.

High school diploma or equivalent at a minimum.

PC proficient with a comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Office applications. 

Must be a detail-oriented, organized, self-starting individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

Able to speak and write English (Bilingual in Spanish/English is a plus).

Individual must be authorized to work in the U.S. 

This position requires access to ITAR-controlled information and materials. The successful candidate must meet all ITAR eligibility requirements, including being a U.S. person as defined by ITAR. 


Reports To: The Setup Operator will report to the Senior Customer Success Manager.


Hours: Standard office hours, some overtime will be required.
