Salary: $16.95- $18.00

SUMMARY

The mission of all Tops associates is to adhere to the Tops vision of providing a friendly neighborhood store that saves the customer time and money. The scan coordinator is responsible for maintaining clear, correct pricing throughout every department in the store.   

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensure that pricing throughout the store is clearly posted and correct•    Follow all operating procedures for the scan department
  • Finish all paperwork required for the scan department
  • Make sure any price discrepancies are fixed immediately
  • Perform weekly/ monthly price audits (i.e.: entire store audit, produce scan audit)
  • •    Spend the necessary time to select, train and develop scan department associates to maintain a steady reserve of personnel for each position
  • •    Write the schedule for the scan department team
  • •    Oversee weekly price changes and review the work of the price change team to ensure accuracy
  • Communicate the importance of price accuracy to all department heads and store management
  • Maintain a positive work environment for associates and a positive shopping environment for the customers
  • Organization, planning and self-discipline
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must be at least 18 years of age

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions
  • Possess basic computer skills
  • Possess strong communication skills
