Position Summary

The Infra Electrical Projects Team is seeking an Electrical Engineer to develop and execute CAPEX roadmaps for our critical electrical infrastructure. In this role, you will lead end-of-life retrofits and capacity expansion projects essential to sustaining the growth and reliability of our 24x7x365 semiconductor fabrication facilities. You will ensure that our power distribution systems are scalable, safe, and resilient to support world-class manufacturing.

Role and Responsibilities

Here's What You'll Be Responsible For:

  • Leadthedesign,codecompliance,andsafetyvalidationforpowerdistributionsystems,ensuringpeakequipmentperformance.

  • Overseethefullprojectlifecycle-fromplanningandconceptualdesigntoexecutionanddelivery-ensuringstrictalignmentwithscope,schedule,andbudget.

  • Develop,review,andapprovesite-wideelectricalspecificationsformedium-voltage(MV)andlow-voltage(LV)distributionequipment.

  • AuthorFeasibilityReportsandConceptualDesignsfornewCapitalInvestmentProjects(CIP)andR&M(Repair&Maintenance)expenseprojects.

  • Provideexpertengineeringsupportduringpre-construction,construction,andthefinalturnovertoOperations.

  • Manageday-to-dayactivitiesofexternalconsultantdesignteams,generalcontractors,andsubcontractorsfornewbuildsandretrofitprojects.

  • Developcomprehensiveandaccuratesequencesofoperationsforallnewlydesignedsystems.

  • Applyandmaintainindustrystandards,includingSEMIF47forvoltagesagride-through,toensurefacilityuptime.

  • PerformArc-Flashanalysisandmaintainsite-widecompliancewithcode.

  • Proactivelymonitorandensuretheuptimeandperformanceofthesite'spowersystems.

  • PerformQA/QCreviewsonallengineeringdeliverablesandvendorproposals.

  • LeadparticipationininternalandexternalISO50001auditsanddrivethecompany'scorporatesustainabilityandenergy-efficiencygoals.

Skills and Qualifications

Here's what you'll need:

  • Bachelor'sorMaster'sdegreeinElectricalEngineeringfromanABET-accreditedinstitution.

  • RegisteredProfessionalEngineer(PE)preferred.

  • Minimumof2+yearsofelectricaldesignorprojectexperiencewithinanindustrialsetting.

  • KnowledgeofMV/LV(15kV-208V)equipment,includingpowersystemfault/coordinationstudies,protectionschemes,andprotectiverelays.

  • Experiencewiththedesign,sizing,andoperationofMotorControlCenters(MCCs),ATS,STS,Transformers,EmergencyGenerators,andUninterruptiblePowerSupplies(UPS).

  • KnowledgeofElectricMotorsandVariable/AdjustableFrequencyDrives(VFD/AFD).

  • Knowledgeofindustrialcommunicationprotocols,suchasMODBUSorotherrelevantindustrystandards.

  • ProficiencywithIBC,IFC,NFPAandotherregulatorycodesapplicabletoindustrialpowerdistributiondesignandconstruction.

  • Proficiencyinelectricalmodelingsoftware(e.g.,ETAP,SKM)

  • Provenexperiencemanagingprojectsfromdesignandspecificationthroughconstructionadministration.

  • Abilitytointerpretcomplexdesignplansandshopdrawingsandconductrigorousfieldreviewsofwork-in-progress.

  • Excellentwrittenandverbalcommunicationskills,withtheabilitytopresenttechnicalcontentclearlytovariousorganizations.

  • PMPcertificationisaplus.

  • Strongcreativeproblem-solvingskills,leadershippotential,andadrivetomeetaggressivegoalswithintighttimelines.

The current base salary range for this role is between $76,000 - $165,000. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
