Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a Salesforce Administrator to provide platform leadership, governance, and hands-on administration across a multi-cloud Salesforce ecosystem. This role is responsible for platform stability, org hygiene, security, and release governance, while partnering closely with Salesforce developers, architects, and business teams.
The admin will act as the primary owner of Salesforce org health and operational excellence, ensuring scalable configurations, high data quality, disciplined release management, and consistent standards across Sales Cloud, Health Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Data Cloud in a multi-org environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Serve as the overall steward of Salesforce platform health, governance, and admin best practices
  • Define and enforce standards for org hygiene, configuration management, automation usage, and metadata lifecycle
  • Proactively identify technical debt and drive remediation plans in partnership with developers and architects
  • Act as the escalation point for complex admin, data, and access-related issues
  • Own administration and configuration across Sales Cloud, Health Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Salesforce Data Cloud
  • Design and maintain scalable configurations using no-code and low-code tools (objects, flows, validations, approvals, record types)
  • Ensure strong data quality, consistency, and lifecycle management, including deduplication and archival strategies
  • Own end-to-end user and access governance, including user onboarding/offboarding, license allocation, and role hierarchy - profiles, permission sets, and sharing models
  • Perform regular security and access reviews aligned with compliance and least-privilege principles
  • Support audit readiness and regulatory requirements, especially in healthcare or regulated environments
  • Own and continuously improve the Salesforce release management process
  • Coordinate with Salesforce developers on change intake and prioritization, sandbox strategy and UAT execution, and deployment planning and release scheduling
  • Ensure high-quality releases through strong validation, documentation, and stakeholder communication
  • Maintain release calendars, deployment checklists, and post-release verification standards
  • Own administration across multiple Salesforce orgs and environments
  • Define sandbox strategies, refresh cycles, and configuration alignment
  • Reduce configuration drift and promote reuse and consistency across orgs
  • Work closely with Salesforce developers to ensure the right balance between no-code (configuration), low-code (Flows), and pro-code (Apex/LWC)
  • Represent the admin and platform stability perspective during solution design and technical planning
  • Influence admin/developer best practices across teams

QUALIFICATIONS
  • BS in computer science or equivalent technical field.
  • 2+ years of Salesforce administration experience
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Sales Cloud, Health Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Salesforce Data Cloud
  • Proven experience leading organizational hygiene and data governance initiatives
  • Experience in enterprise-level release management
  • Experience with user access and security governance
  • Experience in multi-org Salesforce environments
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce security, automation limits, and performance considerations
  • Ability to work effectively with developers, architects, and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Required Certifications:

    • Salesforce Advanced Administrator
    • Salesforce Platform Developer I

  • Ability to identify key issues and details, and present understandable alternatives to both technical and non-technical individuals
  • Ability to create and maintain technical documentation to support the testing, installation, operations, deployment and maintenance of products
  • Proven ability to effectively present data to facilitate understanding of findings
  • Ability to solve complex problems using analytical and creative problem-solving skills for design, development and testing of systems
  • Competent at adhering to organizational processes and procedures including but not limited to scrum and various design artifacts.
  • Knowledge of agile development methodologies
  • Life-long learner, process improver
  • Preferred / Nice-to-Have:
    • Experience supporting Marketing Cloud integrations and operations
