Position: Salesforce Administrator

Location: Harrisburg, PA (Remote – Candidate must reside within a 2-hour radius of the Harrisburg region)
Duration: 6 Months
Schedule: Full-Time (37.5 Hours per Week)

Position Overview

The ideal candidate will possess strong Salesforce administration experience, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions using declarative platform capabilities and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and maintain Salesforce users, profiles, permission sets, role hierarchies, sharing rules, and security controls.

  • Design, configure, and support Salesforce solutions using declarative tools including Flows, validation rules, approval processes, page layouts, record types, and custom objects.

  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and develop effective Salesforce solutions.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor by identifying opportunities to improve business processes and increase Salesforce adoption.

  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics to support operational and executive decision-making.

  • Manage data quality initiatives, including data imports, exports, cleansing, deduplication, and migration activities.

  • Support Salesforce releases, testing efforts, deployment activities, and platform enhancements.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex platform, configuration, security, and integration issues.

  • Support integrations between Salesforce and internal/external systems using APIs and approved integration tools.

  • Develop and maintain system documentation, operational procedures, configuration standards, and knowledge base materials.

  • Deliver end-user training and provide ongoing support to business and technical teams.

  • Mentor junior administrators and assist in building internal Salesforce administration capabilities.

  • Assist in establishing governance, security, change management, and platform support processes.

  • Ensure compliance with security, accessibility, records management, and data governance requirements.

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience administering, configuring, supporting, or developing enterprise applications.

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on Salesforce Administration experience in a complex enterprise environment.
