Job description

We are seeking an experienced, skilled and dedicated Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills and a comprehensive understanding of Prevost buses or any bus manufacturers. This role requires effective communication with team members, management and drivers while maintaining compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Dedication to providing the safest and most efficient coaches/trucks to our drivers and customers.
  • Perform DOT-compliant maintenance on all vehicles/equipment within our fleet.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on all vehicles/equipment within our fleet.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair all major systems such as engines, transmissions, DEF systems, AC systems, and driver safety mitigation devices/systems.
  • Utilize OEM Diagnostic platforms for troubleshooting/repair and participate in training opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs performed on all vehicles
  • Perform interior bus and RV repairs, including 12v, 110v and 220v electrical systems, av equipment including tv, radio and various electronics.
  • Utilize hand tools and schematics to diagnose issues and execute repairs.
  • HVAC and 20kw generator experience would be preferred but not required.
  • Conduct inspections to ensure all equipment is functioning properly and meets safety standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot problems and implement effective solutions.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment.
  • 4+ years of diesel engine and/or trailer repair experience minimum
  • Ability to work on a variety of heavy/medium duty diesel vehicles & equipment
  • Familiarity with bus or rv maneuvering
  • Proficient in using hand tools and reading schematics for diagnostic purposes.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of vehicle systems such as hydraulics, air brakes, electrical, etc.

  • Physical capability to perform manual labor, including pushing and lifting as required.
