What are Full Time RV Transport Drivers?

Full Time RV Transport Drivers are professionals who specialize in transporting recreational vehicles (RVs) from manufacturers or dealerships to customers, dealers, or other destinations across the country. Their job involves driving large trucks or towing RVs, ensuring safe and timely delivery, and sometimes handling paperwork and inspection upon delivery. These drivers are typically employed by transport companies or may work as independent contractors. The role requires a clean driving record, knowledge of DOT regulations, and the ability to handle long-distance routes. It is a physically demanding job that often requires extended periods away from home.

To thrive as a Full Time RV Transport Driver, you need a valid commercial driver's license (CDL), a clean driving record, and experience with towing or hauling large vehicles. Familiarity with GPS navigation systems, electronic logging devices (ELDs), and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations is typically required.
