Role Overview

The Inspector is responsible for completing service requests at various locations throughout a given territory. Inspect and test intrusion, CCTV, access control, and fire alarm systems to ensure that they function effectively. Adjust or repair malfunctioning systems. Perform basic sprinkler inspection service. Verify fire systems meet NFPA standards.

Key Responsibilites

  • Run test and inspection on intrusion, CCTV, access control, and fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems.
  • Complete and maintain site and system information upon completion of inspection to ensure high quality client experience.
  • Create site maps and instructions when merited.
  • Coordinate with the local fire department to avoid response to testing
  • Must adhere to company safety policies and procedures
  • Must be able to develop and complete NFPA testing documents for client
  • Complete basic system repairs if necessary or inform the Service Department of customer's service needs
  • Advise customer of test and inspection results
  • Maintain Inspection database documentation efficiently and effectively.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Strong organizational skills, eye for detail, positive attitude, and the ability to learn quickly
  • Intermediate computer skills - Microsoft (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Work Requirements:

  • Must complete PERC background check.
  • Must have ability to walk great distances and climb multi story stairs.
  • Basic use of hand and power tools to replace devices.
