This position focuses on building and maintaining intelligent automation solutions by integrating Robotic Process Automation (RPA) platforms, software development, low-code applications, data integration, analytics, and artificial intelligence services, in alignment with the scope and limits permitted for our unit. Position works hybrid and reports to San Juan, PR.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Design, build, and deliver end-to-end automation solutions following a structured lifecycle (analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and support).
  • Develop automation workflows using Power Automate, Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools (e.g., Sema4.ai/Robocorp), and low-code platforms to optimize operational and back-office processes.
  • Integrate systems and applications through APIs, REST/web services, and ETL processes (including SSIS) to enable scalable automation solutions.
  • Enhance automations using cloud and AI services (e.g., AWS Textract, Bedrock, SageMaker, and other orchestration/storage components).
  • Ensure solutions include proper controls, exception handling, logging, and traceability to meet audit, SOX, security, and integration requirements.
  • Partner with business, operations, and technology teams to analyze AS-IS processes, design TO-BE solutions, and identify automation opportunities with measurable impact.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and data models (Power BI, Power Query) to monitor automation performance, SLAs, and operational benefits.
  • Contribute to scalable and reusable solutions that combine RPA, data, AI, and analytics within enterprise environments.
  • Maintain code, scripts, and automation components following best practices (version control, coding standards, architectural patterns, and technical reviews).
  • Provide production support, including monitoring, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, Agile delivery participation, and maintaining technical/operational documentation.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience).
