Position Summary:
The Router is responsible for routing deliveries/pickups (returns) and for calling and setting up appointments for the warehouse deliveries.
Job Description:
Schedule:
  • 4 Day Work Week
  • Monday - Thursday
  • 12-10 PM

Job Responsibilities:
  • Use the routing software (Roadnet) to schedule daily deliveries and pickups that meet service and efficiency standards.
  • Maximize both the number of stops and cases for the best optimum route.
  • Re-key and organize re-ships.
  • Keep management informed of any issues surrounding Roadnet software; communicate with the technical support department of Roadnet; Update Roadnet data, geo-code map, account master (new accounts).
  • Schedule appointment times for some store deliveries.
  • Change demand order type in operations AX system and route.
  • Manage the Drivers, Helpers, and Casual employees.
  • Pick up, sort, and distribute invoices/scan sheets.
  • Print and distribute driver and management manifest.
  • Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder's supervisor, may also be required.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in related field and/or equivalent training and work experience
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in related area
  • Proficient PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs including presentation software
  • Must be a results-oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines
  • Analytic and Reporting skills
  • Utilize sound judgement and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume, team environment
  • Routing or Operations software system skills

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Roadnet Routing

Physical Requirements:
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone
