Preferred Home Care of New York, a fully licensed Home Care Agency serving the NY Metropolitan area including Nassau, Suffolk and Westchester counties, is seeking Full-time Registered Nurses in the Queens region. This position requires expertise in the areas of patient and family assessment, determining appropriateness of and acceptance for private home health services, coordination of services given by other health care providers and knowledge of state regulations.

Requirements:
  • Must have an active New York State RN License
  • 1+ years of experience working in a Hospital & Home Care setting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of Home Care policies and procedures
  • Preferred but not required experience working in an Adult care facility & Assistant Living Program
  • UAS Experience preferred
