RN or LPN
The applicant provides care to patients in accordance with the philosophy and policies of
Myrtle Beach Family Medicine. Performs a combination of duties for care of patients in a
primary care medical practice Monday thru Friday 8am to 5pm. Duties include triage, voice
mail and gathering information on patients for assessment, vitals, weight, assisting physician
with exams and procedures as well as perform EKGs. Applicant has the ability to administer
medications and perform basic CLIA-waived Tests. Experience with Insurance Carriers for prior
authorization of medications and procedures as well as referrals for tests and specialists. Must
have excellent typing skills for electronic medical record – prior work with Aprima EHR a plus.
Position is responsible to work with physician to keep rooms restocked, check for outdated
supplies and comply with OSHA, DHEC, HIPAA and other regulatory guidelines. Job requires a
valid SC License or certification and current BLS certification.
